Andrew Byron Bachelor (June 26, 1988) is a Canadian-American actor and internet personality. He is professionally known by his stage name, King Bach. After finishing middle school, he continued his education at Coral Springs Charter School. After high school, Bachelor attended Florida State University, where he participated in high jump competitions. In addition, he was a member of 30in60, one of the most prestigious comic sketch groups at the college level. In 2010, he received a degree in business management from Florida State University.
With over 6 billion loops, Bachelor is the most followed account on Vine and has over 11 million followers. In March 2015, he became Vine's most-followed user. Even while Vine is where he first made his name, Bachelor also has a popular channel on YouTube called BachelorsPadTv. Bachelor claims he has declined the vast majority of offers to upload commercially-sponsored Vines.
His viral success on Vine led to a contract with UTA and a recurring part on House of Lies for Bachelor. Further, he was a regular participant in MTV2's Wild 'n Out at one point. Aside from his recurring role on The Mindy Project, he was a series regular on the Adult Swim sitcom Black Jesus. Bachelor also appeared in the mockumentary Fifty Shades of Black and hosted a new BET version of the show Punk'd as a special guest host.
