Ali Wong (April 19, 1982) is a famous American comedian and actress born in the Pacific Heights. Wong embarked on her initial journey into stand-up comedy at 23. In search of her comedic aspirations, she rapidly relocated to New York City, where she started an intense routine of up to nine nights of performances. She is best known for her very famous Netflix comedy series "Knock Wife (2018) and "Don Wong (2022).
In the 2019 Netflix production "Always Be My Maybe," in which Nahnatchka Khan served as the director, Wong co-starred with Randall Park. Wong, Park, and Michael Golamco wrote the screenplay for the movie. During the period spanning from 2019 through 2022, Wong assumed the role of Bertie in the Netflix animated sitcom Tuca & Bertie, providing vocal performances for the character.
Wong's book, "Dear Girls: Intimate Tales, Untold Secrets, and Advice for Living Your Best Life," was published on October 15, 2019. The book was awarded the Goodreads Choice Award for Humor in 2019.
In February 2022, Wong debuted her third stand-up special, "Don Wong," on the Netflix platform. In the 2023 Netflix drama-comedy series Beef, Wong appeared as a co-star opposite Steven Yeun. Additionally, Wong was acknowledged as an executive producer, sharing this role with Yeun.
