Aida Margarita Parada Rodriguez (August 29, 1977) is an American comedian of Puerto Rican/Dominican descent. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and became well-known for her appearance as a contestant on the eighth season of Last Comic Standing. She was also performing her duties as a commentator on The Young Turks. Rodriguez also works as an actress, writer, podcaster, and producer. Rodriguez attended Florida State University, where she studied law and English. While studying at the university, she was recruited by the modeling agency, IMG.
Rodriguez has worked to transform painful periods of her life into comedy material. She addresses problematic issues of society, such as racism and misogyny. She became a top ten finalist in the eighth season of Last Comic Standing on NBC in 2014.
Rodriguez has appeared in a few hit series throughout her career, such as The Greatest Song in 2008, Stand Up and Deliver (Comic) in 2013), and Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready (2019).
