A MidSummer SLAY! is stated to be a night of luscious looks, life-giving lip-syncs, and death-dropping divas. The location is a performing arts center and a non-profit organization that maintains, operates, and owns downtown Albany’s historic Palace Theatre. A MidSummer SLAY! features Queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race who will be turning it up and turning it out. All the RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 4 Winners star in the show, including Trinity the Tuck, Mone’t X Change, Tatianna, and Derrick Barry. The show also features some of the incredible Capital Region Drag Talent.
A MidSummer SLAY! evening is hosted by Pixie Aventura (Lady Bunny), who is popular as New York City’s premier drag queen. Manila Luzon is a well-known international drag queen who is popular for her silly cross-eyed expressions and campy twist on glamour. Shea Couleé is an American drag queen and a famous musician who is known to be the fixture of the Chicago nightlife scene. On the other hand, Coco Montrese is also a Las Vegas entertainer and pageant contestant.
Morgan McMichaels is a well-known consummate performer who is a favorite among the Southern California drag scene. Last but not least, Landon Cider is one of the eleven contestants of the Boulet Brothers’ DRAGULA and the winner of “America’s Next Drag Supermonster.”
