The Indy Classic is an American annual event. The talent show benefits the charitable work of Indiana Sports Corp. Each year, the best college basketball teams in the country gather in Indianapolis for a doubleheader that serves as a showcase for their talents.

Taking the place of the Crossroads Classic weekend each December, Indiana Sports Corp. has signed a long-term arrangement with Pacers Sports & Entertainment and Russ Potts Productions, Inc. to organize this event. They organize the event at their best every year.

The first meeting between Indiana State and Ball State, which took place in 1919, marked the beginning of a long rivalry between the two universities. Following their victory over Ball State by a score of 83-71 at Terre Haute on November 12, 2022, the Sycamores have a 73-63 advantage in the all-time rivalry.
