The 2024–25 season saw Gonzaga University's Bulldogs men's basketball team begin the year 7–1. In Mark Few's 26th season as head coach, the team has shown a dynamic mix of seasoned players and beginner prospects. Nolan Hickman had 17 points to lead Gonzaga in its season opener, a 101–63 blowout of Baylor. 

That was followed by another 88–80 win over Arizona State, with Efton Reid scoring 21 points. Khalif Battle scored 21 for the Bulldogs, keeping the momentum going with a 113–54 win over UMass Lowell. But they fell short with an 86–78 overtime loss to West Virginia. But Battle rebounded with 16 points again, and the team won 89–73 over No. 14 Indiana. Ben Gregg had 24 points, and they won 90–65 against Davidson. 

Looking ahead, Gonzaga will face No. 8 Kentucky on December 7, 2024, at 7:00 PM. Early games are good, and their performances here will be a stepping stone for the rest of the season.
