The Franklin Rodeo has been part of Tennessee life since 1949. Every year in May, people from all around come to Franklin to see real rodeo action. It happens at the Williamson County Ag Expo Park, where the stands fill up with families, kids, and longtime fans. The rodeo features all the major events, including bull riding, barrel racing, team roping, and steer wrestling. It’s loud, fast, and full of energy, with cowboys and cowgirls giving it their all every night.
But it’s not just about the arena. The whole town gets into it. There’s a parade downtown, a kickoff party, and fun stuff for kids and families. The rodeo helps raise money for local causes through the Franklin Noon Rotary Club, and people appreciate knowing their ticket is also helping the community. Some families have been coming for generations, and for many people, it’s the best weekend of the year.
In 2025, the rodeo ran from May 15 to May 17. Each night had big crowds and strong riders from all over the country. The weather was good, the crowd was loud, and the action didn’t slow down. People cheered, kids laughed, and the community came together once again. The Franklin Rodeo keeps its roots strong and proves every year why it’s still going after all this time.
