Desert Hockey Classic Information
The Desert Hockey Classic is a midseason ice hockey tournament held every year at Arizona State University. In its inaugural competition, which took place in 2015, Michigan Tech emerged triumphant. Throughout the 2016–2017 season, the Desert Hockey Classic was moved to Prescott; however, it was ultimately moved back to Glendale for the championship season of the 2018–19 season.
Following the conclusion of the 2017–18 season, it was agreed to pause the event until the 2019–20 season. In 2017, Arizona State University chose to skip the Desert Hockey Classic to participate in the inaugural Ice Vegas Invitational. They became victorious in the competition.
