Cody Nite Rodeo Information
The Cody Nite Rodeo is an American rodeo show. Starting in 1938, it has become the longest-running and the only rodeo that runs from June to August globally. Tate family and Mo Betta Rodeo Company have been producing the nightly rodeo for over 13 years now. They are still putting their efforts into making history. Since the century has turned, parades and rodeos have become part of the Fourth of July in Cody, Wyoming; The Cody Stampede was officially started in 1919 and held almost every summer. In 2019, the Cody Stampede celebrated its 100s anniversary, whereas Cody Nite Rodeo celebrated 81st.
In 1998 and 1999, the Cody Nite Rodeo was named “Best Large Outdoor Rodeo of the Year” by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. It was also voted the “Top 5” Large Outdoor Rodeos in 2020. The Cody Nite Rodeo was nominated for “Best Small Outdoor Rodeo of the Year” in 2001. The platinum sponsors of the Cody Stampede include Wyoming, Cody Yellowstone, and Pepsi. The gold sponsors include Pinnacle Bank, Boot Barn, Cody Regional Health, Albertsons, Buffalo Bill Center of the West, and First Bank of Wyoming.
