Canadian Finals Rodeo Information
The Canadian Finals Rodeo is the major championship event of the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association. It features one of Canada's most lucrative prize pools, regularly exceeding C$1,000,000. The top 10 money winners from the whole season and the first and second-place finishers from the last ten events compete in the championship round.
The Northlands Coliseum, formerly Rexall Place, served as the site of the yearly event in Edmonton, Alberta, until 2018. The rodeo has been held at Westerner Park and the ENMAX Centrium in Red Deer, Alberta, since 2018.
Saddle bronc riding, Barrel racing, Team roping, Tie-down roping, Steer wrestling, Bareback riding, and standing bull riding are the seven events that make up the final rodeo. Each one comes with its entertainment and attractions. In addition to the regular finals event, there is a young competition and many extra attractions for audience members of all ages to enjoy.
There are many restaurants, bars, and venues for live music and rodeo history near the rodeo site in Alberta. Shuttles to and from the Canadian Finals Rodeo and aerial excursions of Alberta are also available for the public.
