Bob Feist Invitational is the most recognized and prestigious event in the US, featuring the finest roping and equine athletes offered by the sport. This event recently celebrated its 44th anniversary of Bob Feist Invitational Team Roping, featuring 125 of the roping industry’s top teams. The event is said to be the world’s richest open roping organized by some big names. The organizers have worked closely for decades with the Reno Rodeo.
Bob Feist Invitational makes sure to bring a special show every year for the fans, which is always unforgettable. The BFI has enjoyed its homes in Denton, TX, Las Vegas, NV, and Chowchilla, CA. Since 1983, the show has been in Reno. Throughout 42 events, BFI has paid $11,758,207 to the professional ropers. On an annual basis, the former Reno Rodeo Invitational ropings have paid out millions to America’s amateur ropers as well.
Bob Feist Invitational featured the Hooey Jr. Championships, the All Girl Challenges, along with the 12.5 and 11.5 ropings, the 9.5 and 10.5 Over 40 ropings, all under the same roof. BFI is teamed-up with the $200,000 Cinch Timed Event Championships (CTEC) for the recent event.
