They decided to have a rodeo, and that was that. It may have begun as a modest regional rodeo, but now it attracts the top riders in the nation. Competitors vie for monetary awards and the opportunity to earn points toward advancement to the National Finals.
The rodeo features all the usual suspects: steer wrestling, shootouts, team roping, bull riding, saddle and bareback bronc riding, barrel racing, tie-down roping, a calf scramble, and team roping.
