Arizona Diamondbacks Information
The Arizona Diamondbacks are an MLB team from the United States. The squad was founded on March 9, 1995. The team debuted as an expansion team in 1998. Chase Field is the site of the team's home games. The Diamondbacks and the Tampa Bay Rays are one of MLB's newest franchises. The Diamondbacks have gone 1,914-2,034 (.485) since 1998. Diamondbacks' uniform looked slightly different beginning with the 2020 season. Both the snakeskin motifs and the teal accents on the grey suits have been done away with.
The Diamondbacks were one of seven Nike "City Connect" uniforms in 2021. Front and center in black font is the word "Serpientes" on a sand background. The letter "S" in "Serpientes" is coiled like a serpent, as befits the name. The Diamondbacks debuted their red "A" cap with black brim in 2022.
The Diamondbacks retired their old Sedona Red white home jersey to favor the alternate white uniform with teal elements before the 2023 season. This is because of a new regulation from Nike that restricts teams to just four primary uniforms and one alternate (called the "City Connect" uniform). One of recent years' most heated divisional rivalries has been that between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The 2024 MLB season will mark the 27th for the Arizona Diamondbacks, who have played their whole Major League Baseball history at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona. They are currently a member of the National League West, and the present team record is 20–22 (.476).
Torey Lovullo is in his eighth year as the team's manager. The Arizona Diamondbacks
are coming off back-to-back National League championships and a World Series appearance. To start the season, they blew away the Colorado Rockies 16-1 at home, the finest opening game in franchise history.
