Zachary Stephen Williams (June 27, 1978) is a Christian rock musician from Jonesboro, Arkansas. He sang lead for Zach Williams & The Reformation (and played acoustic guitar and harmonica) from 2007 to 2012. Zach Williams also founded a Christian band called Brothers of Grace, which was later renamed to feature him as the lead singer.
After four years of being a solo artist following the dissolution of Zach Williams & The Reformation, Williams signed with Provident Label Group (Essential Records) in 2016. "Chain Breaker," his debut solo single, topped the Hot Christian Songs Chart and was a Top 10 hit on Christian radio in 2016. After the single's success, Williams collaborated with Jonathan Smith and Colby Wedgeworth to release a five-song EP titled Chain Breaker.
Williams also served as the worship leader from 2014 to 2017 at the Refuge Campus of Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Williams's second studio album, Rescue Story, was released on October 4, 2019. A duet with Dolly Parton on "There Was Jesus" was also included in the release.
Williams' third studio album was released on September 30, 2022, named One hundred routes. The song "Heart of God" is featured as a single. Warren Peay, an American Idol (season 21) contestant, sang his version of "Up There, Down Here" from the same album.
