Zachary Lucky (January 4, 1989) is a Canadian folk and country artist and songwriter. He was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He is the grandson of Smilin' Johnny Lucky, a legendary figure in Canadian country music. Lucky has been a part of two successful pop bands, Tuxedo Mask and We Were Lovers, before deciding to go it alone in 2009. Lucky has established himself as one of the most hard-working singer-songwriters to emerge from Saskatchewan in recent years by taking on a string of lengthy and, at times, exhausting tour commitments.
Three extended plays and six full-length albums, including Come and Gone, Saskatchewan, The Ballad of Losing You, and Everywhere a Man Can Be, makeup Lucky's nine recordings to date. He has released several albums of note, including Come and Gone (August 5, 2010), Saskatchewan (March 6, 2012), The Ballad of Losing You (September 17, 2013), Everywhere a Man Can Be (October 7, 2016), Midwestern (October 18, 2019), and Songs for Hard Times (November 5, 2021).
