David Mitori is another name for Yakz. He is a producer from Los Angeles who has been making a name for himself for a few years now. Before breaking into the underground dubstep scene, he had a strong foundation as a vocalist in metal. At this point, he is still very much into rhythmic noises and rough embellishments. Hits like "Shut 'Em Down" and "Fly So High" are just a few of his many releases. The former amassed over a million streams on Spotify alone, while the latter racked up over 700,000.
In addition, the "Shut 'Em Down Tour" was inspired by his early EP Yativate (2017), one of his most successful tours. He has numerous successful singles and over a dozen extended plays. In 2020, he dropped his first studio album, Hollow Footsteps. Soundcloud, Apple Music, and Spotify were among the many places it ended up after failing to get critical acclaim at first.
More than 65,000 people have subscribed to Yakz's Spotify channel thanks to his many years in the music industry. Playlists like "Yakz - Road to Bassrush Massive" make it easy to find his music, and he has also been on other compilations, including VOYD Vol. 1.5 (2019).
