Wrabel Information
Stephen Wrabel (January 7, 1989) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He goes by the moniker Wrabel and is located in Los Angeles. Wrabel went to The Kinkaid School in Houston, Texas, and attended Berklee College of Music for a semester after high school before moving to Los Angeles to pursue music. He signed to Pulse Recording as a songwriter. He received his first significant break. Wrabel recorded "Get Up," the theme song for the NBC game show Minute to Win It, created by Eve Nelson, in 2010.
Island Def Jam Music Group chairman and CEO Barry Weiss and Executive Vice President/Head of A&R Karen Kwak recruited Wrabel to the label in 2012. Wrabel's song "Ten Feet Tall" was covered by Dutch DJ Afrojack in 2014, and it became a worldwide success. The song debuted in the United States in a Bud Light commercial during Super Bowl XLVIII, which roughly 100 million people saw.
Wrabel released his single "11 Blocks" on June 24, 2016, highly promoted and backed by Kesha. Wrabel released an EP titled We Could Be Beautiful in May 2017. For the song, he also created a lyric video and a music video. On March 10, 2017, he released his second single, "Bloodstain."
His composition credits include Pink, Kesha, Louis The Child, Kygo, Marshmello, Backstreet Boys, and Ruel. On October 21, 2015, MNDR produced a remix of Wrabel's "I Want You," which debuted on Noisey.
