Whiskey Run Information
Whiskey Run is an American country band. It was formed by Dave Firmin (guitarist) and Jayson Sabo (musician). Firmin was about to turn the occasional country song on the radio, but Sabo soon approached him, which changed everything for them.
Both were former members of different bands. Firmin, for instance, specializes in alternative music. Keith Urban, Jason Alden, Blake Shelton, and more are included on Whiskey Run. Firmin sings lead and plays rhythm guitar, while Sabo takes the lead on guitar. Mark Wright on bass and Jamie Jones, the band’s newest member on drums, will be joining them.
Whiskey Run was formed in 2013 and made its debut at Augusta’s Wild Wing Cafe. Since then, the group has visited Playoff’s Sports Bar in Aiken, South Caroline, Savannah, Charleston, Charlotte, Greenville, and Greenwood.
The two guitarists continue to work on Whiskey Run’s off nights. They may pluck a Train tune or rock out to an Iron Maiden song. Whiskey Run’s originals are also written by the two. Firmin has previously collaborated with Zac Brown, and Sabo is acquainted with Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley. In 2018, Whiskey Run released its self-titled debut EP.
