Ethan Snoreck, popular by his stage name Whethan, is an American DJ and music producer born on May 25, 1999, in Chicago. At first, the young lad started producing music under his original name. However, he soon changed his name to Whethan in 2016, which happened to be the name of his alternative account for edits and remixes of songs. Whethan started making music with his iPad in his Garage. He used to listen to Daft Punk, Deadmau5, and Skrillex at the beginning of his career. At the age of 16, he became the youngest producer to release a record on the Australian EDM label.
Whethan gained popularity after his remix of the track XE3 by Mssingno which completed a total of 12 million plays on SoundCloud. Whethan usually produces music in future bass and electronic genre. He has performed in many music festivals, which include the SXSW music festival and BUKU Music and Art Project festival.
The official music video for the song “Can’t Hide,” released by Whethan, gained immense popularity having almost 2 million SoundCloud plays, and it also made into the number one spot on Billboard’s Spotify Viral 50 chart. Whethan has collaborated with many other talented musicians to produce some great music.
Whethan has released many songs in collaboration with Olive Tree, which includes “All You Ever Talk About” and “Enemy.” He also collaborated with the famous Dua Lipa on a song called “High,” which featured in the film Fifty Shades Freed. He also released his single featuring Broods in March, called “Be Like You.” Whethan is one of the most popular DJs and musicians in America who has made a big name at such a young age.
