Westlife Information
Westlife is an Irish pop band. The group's current lineup consists of Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne. The band first got together on July 3, 1998, under the name Westside, but since another group already used that name, they changed it to Westlife. They inked a record deal with RCA Records worth four million pounds. In 1998, Westlife got their big break when they were asked to open up for the Boyzone and Backstreet Boys in Dublin.
They announced their new album deal with Warner Music UK and East West Records on March 17, 2021. The performance occurred at Ulster Hall, Belfast, on August 25, 2021, and was broadcast on BBC Radio 2 on September 10, 2021. Its lead song, "Starlight," was released off its twelfth studio album on October 14, 2021. On November 26, 2021, the album Wild Dreams was published.
They said the show at Wembley Stadium would be broadcast live in theaters around Europe. On December 17, 2021, Tencent's WeChat (Weixin) in China broadcasted a Westlife concert taped at London's Bush Hall Venue to an audience of around 28 million. On June 24, 2022, they appeared as guests on a livestream concert by the Backstreet Boys on the same service. Westlife released their first North American tour dates on August 14, 2023. In March 2024, you can catch them living in Toronto, Boston, New York, and Chicago.
