Born and raised in the Bay Area, Taylor Chung, as Wenzday, uses her classically trained ear to offer a unique sound to the electronic world. After relocating from the Bay Area to Los Angeles to pursue music full-time, Wenzday enrolled and completed her studies at the highly regarded ICON COLLECTIVE recording institution. It was at this location that Wenzday made the transition from open-format DJ to the full-time producer.
Wenzday has released successful songs on the labels Confessions, Dim Mak, IN/ROTATION, and Insomniac by fusing her expertise in house music and bass music. Wenzday co-founded the successful bass label 40oz Cult and hosted a popular weekly show on Dash Radio every Wednesday. Since its 2016 founding, the label has released over 100 albums and hosted concerts in cities including Los Angeles, San Diego, Honolulu, and Austin.
In 2019, Wenzday broke out with the smash single “Heartbreak House,” featured on playlists for streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music and radio stations like Billboard and Sirius XM. With significant appearances at festivals Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Lost Lands, Nocturnal Wonderland, and Beyond Wonderland, Wenzday has been able to provide an experience to her live set that makes her performance something you don’t want to miss.
