He has composed tunes for several popular artists, including Sammy Kershaw, Wade Hayes, Trace Adkins, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, and many more.
In 2009, Ward Davis made an addition to his solo career when he, along with his fellow songwriters/singers Matt Nolen and Rick Huckaby, formed a sort of alt-country band. The group was called The Beagles. The band has released two studio albums that helped the members build true loyal fans all across the country. The band also appeared in the A&E original series entitled “Crazy Hearts Nashville.”
Davis has co-written “I’m Not The Devil” with Cody Jinks, who is known as Davis’ tour partner nationwide. His first-ever release was an extended play entitled “Asunder” that was launched in 2018.
