Charles Edgar Walker Hayes (December 27, 1979) is an American pop-country singer-songwriter, and he is from Mobile, Alabama. He moved to Nashville with his wife in 2005 to get into the country music business. His music style is defined as pop and country-pop. Hayes ended up getting a song-writing job for a Nashville publishing company. Later, he signed a contract with Mercury Records Nashville from where he immediately dropped and joined Capitol Records Nashville.
Hayes released his first official song in 2010 entitled "Pants," which debuted at number 60 on the charts of the Hot Country Songs. This song was followed by an EP entitled Walker Hayes, Reason to Rhyme, Boom, EPs; 8Tracks (Vol. 1): Good Shit and 8Tracks (Vol. 2): Break the Internet, along with singles including "Why Wait for Summer," "Pimpin' Joy,” "You Broke Up with Me," "Craig," "90's Country", "Don't Let Her," and "Trash My Heart."
Hayes was also sighted on an episode of 19 Kids and Counting, where he sang a song that he wrote about Jill and her present husband named Derick’s proposal. He also sang and co-wrote guest vocals on "Dirty Side" which was a cut from Colt Ford's 2014 album entitled Thanks for Listening.
