Wade Ford, a car dealership in Smyrna, Georgia, sponsors a series of concerts to bring world-class performers to the Atlanta area. The Mable House Barnes Amphitheater is a popular concert venue, as it can accommodate 1,400 people (400 in the covered sitting section and 1,000 on the lawn).
Jazz performers Chrisette Michelle, Marion Meadows, DJ B-Sharpe, and the jazz fusion ensemble Pieces of a Dream often place in the top ten of the Billboard Jazz charts, so it was no surprise that they headlined a 2015 Wade Ford Concert Series event called Summer Jazz Explosion.
