Verona String Quartet Information
The Verona Quartet has solidified its position as one of the most prestigious groups playing chamber music today. The quintet most recently won Chamber Music America's prized 2020 Cleveland Quartet Award for their dedication to one goal. As the Quartet-in-Residence, the Quartet is a member of the teaching staff at Oberlin College and Conservatory. The Quartet also has residencies at the Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle in North Carolina and the Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance in Nova Scotia.
The Verona Quartet has performed in halls across four continents, enthralling audiences at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center (NYC), Kennedy Center, and Melbourne Recital Hall (Australia). They have also appeared with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and at festivals like La Jolla Summerfest, Chamber Music Northwest, and Bravo!
The Verona Quartet will perform at prestigious series such as the Chamber Music Societies of Utica and Williamsburg, the Friends of Chamber Music Kansas City, the Howland Chamber Music Circle, Carnegie Hall, the Buffalo Chamber Music Society, and Clemson University's Utsey Chamber Music Series again in the 2022–23 season. The Quartet will also participate in guest artist residencies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Texas in Austin, and the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory in Singapore.
