Trevor Hall (November 28, 1986) is an American singer-songwriter and musician born in Greenwich, Connecticut. He combines roots, folk, and reggae in his music. Themes of faith and self-discovery recur often throughout Hall's work. His dad was a drummer and musician, so he was always around music as a kid. He tried his hand at bass and trombone before settling on guitar as the instrument he would need to realize his dream of being a singer-songwriter. His debut album was made when he was sixteen years old.
Not long after that, Hall departed from South Carolina for California, enrolling in the San Jacinto Mountains' Idyllwild Arts Academy, a musical boarding high school, to study classical guitar. During this period, he became acquainted with spirituality, meditation, and yoga, which profoundly affected him and continue to shape his life and music. Kala, his 2015 album, was released on August 21. It was composed in Hawaii and recorded in Los Angeles. The iTunes singer-songwriter chart placed it at number two upon its debut.
Hall was the main attraction at a sold-out June 16, 2019, concert at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater, including Nahko, Medicine for the People, and Ayla Nereo. Shortly after the show's success, Hall confirmed his return to the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater as headliner on May 1, 2020.
