Tocadeo Information
René Lajoie, Dany Laliberté, Benoit Miron, and Patrick Olafson, four vocalists from Quebec, came together in 2008 to form the male vocal quartet Tocadeo. The four vocalists first met while performing in musicals like Don Juan and Le Petit Prince, and they quickly became friends and eventually formed the group in the fall of 2008. It was originally planned that the band would only perform at company events. The staff at Productions Serge Paré noticed him after a few of these nights and offered him a record and show contract.
The band's debut self-titled album, produced by Guy St-Onge, was released in June 2010. There are 11 separate works. Frédérick Baron, Marc Dupré, Jean-François Breau, Sandrine Roy, Danny Boudreau, Jean-François Dubé, and Vincenzo Thoma are only a few of the artists whose names can be found on the original songs included in this album. The band also covers great songs by singers like Francine Raymond, Daniel Lavoie, Jacques Breland, and Eddy Marnay. Marc-André Cuierrier did the vocal arrangements for the song.
His second album, In the name of men, was released in August 2012 and was produced by Romano Musumarra. Marc-André Cuierrier once again signs the vocal arrangements. Covers of classic songs by Luc Plamondon, Roger Tabra, Jean-Pierre Ferland, Mario Pelchatand, and Amanda McBroom join original material by Tino Izzo, Mario Pelchat, Christian Marc Gendron, and Romano Musumarra on this second album.
