Tinlicker Information
Tinlicker, consisting of Utrecht natives Micha Heyboer and Jordi van Achthoven, is a Dutch electronic music duo. They have put out their music on labels like Anjunadeep, Mau5trap, Astralwerks, and Armada since they were formed in 2012. Festivals like Mysteryland, Creamfields, Tomorrowland, and Ultra are among those where they have performed to date.
Tinlicker began as the solo project of Micha Heyboer (born May 14, 1979, in Utrecht, The Netherlands), who released It's My First Time Here EP (December 7, 2012) and Remember the Future LP (April 8, 2013) on his own Zero Three Zero label.
Tinlicker's 2017 kicked off with the release of "Soon You'll Be Gone" on Anjunadeep. Later in the year, Tinlicker got a partnership with booking firm David Lewis Productions, who booked them a gig on the mainstage of Mysteryland. Armada published "Because You Move Me" and the Jalapeno EP, which are the follow-up to their work with Deadmau5's label.
On September 27, 2019, the full-length album This Is Not Our Universe, featuring vocals from alt-J, Run Rivers, Thomas Oliver, and Belle Doron, debuted at No.1 on the dance album charts in the US, Australia, India, Canada, and Finland. It hit No.2 in the UK, the Netherlands, and Poland.
In the spring of 2020, Dosem, Joris Delacroix, and Grum released their remixes of tracks from the album This Is Not Our Universe. Tinlicker's and Ben Böhmer's early 2021 Anjunadeep release was collaborative.
