Thompson Square is a country music duo. The current lineup of the group consists of husbands and wife Keifer and Shawna Thompson. In January 2010, the duo signed a record deal with Stoney Creek Records, a Broken Bow Records division. Thompson Square released its debut single entitled “Let’s Fight” in mid-2010. The single peaked on the Hot Country Songs chart on June 5, 2010. The duo released their second single entitled “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not” on July 12, 2010. The single became their first number 1 single on the Hot Country Songs chart.
Thompson Square was recognized as the Top Vocal duo at the Academy of Country Music Awards on April 1, 2012. The duo released another single entitled “If I Didn’t Have You” in October 2012. The single reached number 1 on the Country Airplay chart in May 2013. Thompson Square released its self-titled debut studio album on February 8, 2011, produced by New Voice Entertainment.
On March 26, 2013, Thompson Square released its second studio album entitled Just Feels Good. The band released a third studio album on June 1, 2018, entitled, Masterpiece. Notable singles of the group include “Not Far Enough,” “Let’s Fight,” “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not,” “I Got You,” “Glass,” “If I Didn’t Have You,” “Everything Shouldn’t Be Thinking About,” “Testing the Water,” “I Can’t Outrun You,” “You Make It Look So Good,” and “Masterpiece.”
