The Swon Brothers are a music duo founded in 2013 and originated from Muskogee, Oklahoma. The music of the band is classified as a country. It comprises Colton Swon (born August 17, 1988) and Zach Swon (born February 21, 1985). The brothers began to perform when they were still children and toured with their parents’ group named Exodus to perform various local stages and events. The brothers began to call themselves The Swon Brothers in 2000.
The Swon Brothers released several independent albums, including hit singles named “Oklahoma Lovin’” and “This Close to Gone.” Another Day was the first professionally recorded album by the duo, released on January 16, 2009. The brothers cited The Eagles as their top musical influences.
The Swon Brothers auditioned for The Voice US season four, where they performed Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ “American Girl” during the blind auditions. The brothers chose to sing Seven Bridges Road as a tribute to victims of the Moore tornado in 2013, during the Top 8 Live performances. The duo released a single entitled “Later On” on December 10, 2013, after ending their run on The Voice. The single sold 23,000 copies in its debut week.
Timeless and Pretty Cool Scars are the duo’s two extended plays, released in 2016 and 2017, respectively. Their top competition songs include “Seven Bridges Road,” “Danny’s Song,” and “I Can’t Tell You Why.”
