The Hunna Information
The Hunna is a rock band that was founded in 2015 and originated from Hertfordshire, England. The music of the band is defined as alternative rock, pop-rock, and indie rock. The current lineup of the band consists of lead guitarist Daniel (Dan, BD) Dorney, singer/guitarist Ryan (Tino) Potter, bassist Junate (Prince) Angin, and drummer Jack (IK) Metcalfe. The Hunna shares its inspiration for bands like The 1975, You Me at Six, Kings Of Leon, Foals, and Queen.
The first single by The Hunna, named "Bonfire," was released in October 2015. It was followed by the second single titled "We Could Be" that came out in 2016. Some of the other notable singles by the group are "She's Casual," "You & Me," "Summer," "Dare," "Flickin' Your Hair," "Y.D.W.I.W.M," "NY to LA," "IGHTF." In August 2016, The Hunna released their sixteen-track debut album 100, which was produced by Duncan Mills and Tim Larcombe. The album debuted at number 13 in the UK Indie Chart and the Official UK Album Chart.
The Hunna performed at Dot-to-Dot Festival, Reading and Leeds Festival, and the BBC Introducing Stage. In 2016, the band toured with Jimmy Eat World and headlined Alt Nation's Advanced Placement tour the same year. The group also headlined the '100' tour in January 2017.
The Hunna has released three studio albums so far - 100 on August 26, 2016; Dare on July 13, 2018; and I'd Rather Die Than Let You In on October 2, 2020.
