These Texans from Houston got together to create a band that pays tribute to the greatest of the '70s. Robert Conn (Bill DeGidio), Lisa Fer (Lisa Fer), and Andy Kaos (Andy Kaos) are all members of the band. The likes of Texacala Jones, Rikk Agnew, and Nina Hogan have all recorded with Fer—Chicago native and Richie Ramone touring drummer Kaos. Finally, Conn has performed with The Plague, was a founding member of The Defnics, and was a member of The Pagans.
The Guillotines are a rock band whose sound is highly influenced by punk from the 1970s, particularly from Cleveland and New York City. "Breakin' Out," "8 Pack Day," and "What Kind Of Girl (do you think I am)" are just a few of their most well-known tunes. The Guillotines have been composing music with a "Motorhead" mentality for nearly six years. There are punk rock enthusiasts worldwide, and this band attracts them to their gigs. By channeling the aggressive sound of 1970s punk into songs like "Stronger," they gained a devoted fanbase. The Guillotines excel at metal, punk rock, hardcore, and doom.
