The Cleverlys is an American comedy/music blend that is based in Cane Spur, Arkansas. The band travels the world, performing at reputable music venues, including some of the largest festivals. The top ones are the Grand Ole Opry, CMA Music Fest, Telluride, and Stagecoach. Their efforts have also been praised by the New York Times as it wrote about the Cleverlys that if Earl Scruggs, Dolly Parton, and Spinal Tap spawned a litter of puppies, it would be the Cleverlys.
The Cleverlys are all accomplished musicians from whom you can expect to put a unique bluegrass spin in cover songs coming from any genre. The group also has a setlist that includes genius arrangements of multiple tunes such as “Gangnam Style” of Psy, “No Diggity” by Blackstreet, and “Low” by Flo Rida that has gone viral, accumulating more than 11 million views from a local television appearance.
According to Rolling Stone Magazine, the out-of-date eyeglasses are as thick as his hillbilly accent but whose comic sensibilities are an off-kilter hybrid of Homer & Jethro along with The Office. Their notable albums include The Cleverlys (2011), Cash Crop EP (2016), and Blue (2019).
