The current lineup of the group includes Barry Arbogast (tenor sax, alto sax, and flute), Kacy Dolan (vocals, guitar, and keyboards), Ryan Gentner (vocals, guitar, and keyboards), Dave Herr (vocals and bass), Rick Johnston (vocals and guitars), Jim Mauck (trombone), Eladio Rodriguez (vocals and percussion), Tom Scime (keyboards), Keith Spurlock (vocals and drums), and Justin Sledz (production manager).
The Chicago Authority is known for paying an authentic tribute to the legendary band. The ensemble often performs for 3 hours straight, focusing mainly on duplicating the band's sound and mimicking the look.
