Telescreens Information
The Telescreens band started as an alternative rock outfit in Los Angeles before relocating to New York City. In addition to Jackson Hamm on guitar and vocals, the band has featured Josiah Valerius on keyboards, Austin Brenner on bass, and Oliver Graf on drums. The Beatles, Nirvana, and Kanye West are just a few of the bands whose music has been cited as an influence by the band.
Live concerts by The Telescreens are high-octane affairs designed to unite fans from all walks of life. Lyrical Lemonade, a media firm, has referred to the Telescreens as a "genre-bending act that infuses rock, pop, and electric in a way that simply just works."
In 2020, The Telescreens dropped their first full-length album, The Return. The Sun Is Scared, Melancholy Dreaming, Fade Away, and You Were Mine are just a few of the 16 songs included. The Telescreens have performed throughout the New York City and Brooklyn areas, including at notable venues such as the Mercury Lounge and The Bowery Electric.
