Teddy Robb Information
Teddy Robb is an American singer, songwriter, and Nashville-based artist best known for his craft in Rocky Mountain ski lodges and Nashville’s Honky Tonks. He is originally from Akron, Ohio. Robb’s voice has a laid-back nature that grabs the listeners. He is currently signed to Sony’s Monument Records. Robb grew up loving the outdoors, and his favorite hobbies were hiking, fishing, and playing football. His focus turned to music when he heard George Strait’s “Troubadour.” He called his parents to tell them his final decision about music, packed his bags, and hit the road.
During his time in Colorado, Robb played music to support his snowboarding habit. Soon he moved to Nashville and got signed to Monument Records in 2018. “Really Shouldn’t Drink Around You” was the debut single by Robb that was written by multi-Grammy Award-winning songwriters Josh Osborne, Old Dominion band member Trevor Rosen, and Shane McAnally. The single topped the charts with 50 million worldwide streams to date. Robb also performed this song to a national audience on NBC’s TODAY Show.
Teddy Robb released a self-titled debut EP in April 2020. Some songs included in this EP are “Lead Me On,” “Tell Me How,” “Really Shouldn’t Drink Around You,” “Me On You,” and “Good Love & Good Whisky.’ This project was a production by Ben Fowler, Shane McAnally, and Matt McGinn.
