Tchami Information
Martin Joseph Léonard Bresso, better known by his stage name Tchami, is a French DJ and record producer from Paris. He plays bass house and future house music genres in general. Tchami is best known as a founding member of Pardon My French collective as well as his solo work. He is regarded as the pioneer of the genre, future house.
Tchami is also popular for performing with the persona of a church theme and priest. He sometimes wears a clerical collar along with visuals like stained glass windows and an altar. He began gaining fame after releasing a remix of the song "Go Deep," which is by Janet Jackson. He has also done many tours along with big electronic music artists including Diplo, Skrillex, and DJ Snake. "Promesses" was the first EP by Tchami released on December 5, 2013.
"Promesses" was the single released by Tchami that peaked at no.7 on the Official Singles Chart. "Shot Caller," "Untrue," "After Life," "Missing You," "Superlativ," "Don't Let Me Down," "Adieu, Pt. II", "My Place," "Rainforest," and many more are some hit singles by him. Revelations, No Redemption, and Aurra / Shades are three other Eps by Tchami.
Some of the notable past tours performed by Tchami include No Redemption Tour (Tchami and Malaa), which was held at 10 locations. He also performed at CRSSD Festival, EDC Mexico 2018, and Ultra Music Festival several times. Tchami is currently a part of Pardon My French team. It is a collective of four French DJs, including Malaa, Mercer, DJ Snake, and Tchami.
The Confession was a new record label by Tchami, which was announced in 2015. Tchami toured all around North America with other DJs in late 2018 with the signed Confession label for the Confession tour.
