Tanya Denise Tucker (October 10, 1958) is a country singer and songwriter who had her first success, "Delta Dawn," when she was 13 years old in 1972. Tucker had a run of successes that reached the top ten or forty over her career, making her one of the rare child artists to maintain their fan base as adults. "Bring My Flowers Now" and Tucker's 2019 album "While I'm Livin' " took home Grammys for Best Country Album and Best Country Song, respectively.
Tanya Tucker's "Bring My Flowers Now" and "While I'm Livin'" were the first two Grammys she ever won on January 26, 2020. On October 16, 2020, Tucker released Live from the Troubadour, an album of live performances. In an interview with Rolling Stone in 2021, Tucker mentioned that she, Carlile, and Jennings were all working on a follow-up to While I'm Livin'. "This is Our Country" was Tucker and RuPaul's September 2021 collaboration.
Tucker announced the completion of a new album at her 2022 Stagecoach Festival performance. On April 5, 2023, Tanya released the track "Kindness" off her next studio album, Sweet Western Sound. Tucker, Brandi Carlile, and Shooter Jennings collaborated on the production, which was published on Fantasy Records on June 2, 2023.
