Solána Imani Rowe (November 8, 1989) is a singer-songwriter born in St. Louis, Missouri. He goes by the stage name SZA. See.SZA.Run (2012) and S (2013), both self-released EPs, catapulted her to fame and made her one of Dawg Entertainment's first-ever female signees.
SZA signed a shared production contract with RCA Records, and later that year, she dropped her first proper studio album, Ctrl (2017). Four Grammy Award nominations and the second-longest charting R&B record by a female singer attest to the album's widespread acclaim.
SZA's second studio album, SOS (2022), Spent ten weeks at number 1 on the Billboard 200 list and established a new record for the most streaming in a week by an R&B artist in the U.S., containing the top 10 songs.
In 2023, SZA's "Kill Bill" was her first single to top the Billboard Hot 100. After that, her feature on Drake's "Slime You Out" became her second chart-topping hit of the year.
SZA's career includes an American Music Award, Guild of Music Supervisors Award, two Billboard Women in Music awards (including Woman of the Year), and a Brit Award nomination. Her writing credits include "Feeling Myself," a hit for Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé, on which she majorly collaborated.
