Stray Local is an American songwriting duo consisting of husband and wife, Jamie Rowan and Hannah Lomas. The couple is based in Raleigh, North Carolina, and performs a mix of indie sounds punctuated by well-crafted vocal melodies, rich harmonies, and catchy guitar riffs. All these qualities are woven together with some hints of their pop sensibilities and folk beginnings. Stray Local released their debut EP entitled Passenger in 2018. Since its founding, they have toured across the United Kingdom, Canada, Spain, France, and Germany, performing internationally.
Stray Local has recently completed its first coast-to-coast national “Run Wild” tour, combining the couple’s passion for running and music. The duo performs as Stray Local and runs the roads and trails along the tour route. The duo also competes in 5ks, marathons, and obstacle course races. Stray Local partnered with local running clubs throughout the country and launched the Stray Local Track Club. It is meant to promote healthy living and an active lifestyle throughout the country. The couple also joined the Brooks Run Happy Team in 2020 as Ambassadors.
