Stitched Up Heart Information
Stitched Up Heart is an American rock band. The group's current lineup consists of Randy Mathias, Merritt Goodwin, James Decker, and Alecia "Mixi" Demner. Vocalist Alecia 'Mixi' Demner formed the band in 2010 with the help of friends and fellow musicians Mikey Alfero, Nikki Misery, David DiSarro, and Andrew Carroll on bass and drums. Later, on November 22, 2010, the five-piece group would release an EP titled themselves.
The EP was solely downloadable. However, it includes the songs "We're Alive" and "Is This the Way You Get to Hell?" In 2011, the band would release another EP titled "Escape the Nightmare." Stitched Up Heart's signing to a record label in 2015 came after several years spent honing their sound, creating demos, and playing in local venues.
"Finally Free," a new single released at the end of 2015, peaked at No. 19 on the Active Rock Radio Chart in the United States. The band hit the road in early 2017 with American hard rockers Letters from the Fire. Boise, Idaho, radio station 100.3 The X sponsored a sold-out show by Stitched Up Heart at The Knitting Factory on Friday, April 21, 2017. The song "Lost" from the band's upcoming album Darkness is set for release in 2019. Sully Erna of Godsmack provides vocals for the track.
