Spencer Sutherland (August 31, 1992) is an American R&B and pop singer, actor, and songwriter. He was picked as Elvis Duran’s Artist of the Month in June 2017 and appeared on NBC’s Today show with Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford, where he performed his hit entitled “Selfish” live on the program. It was his debut national appearance on television in the United States.
The “Selfish” was released in February 2017 and reached more than 4 million streams on Apple Music. Sutherland co-wrote the new EP for Timeflies. He received his first-ever major movie song placement in April 2018 in “Honey: Rise Up And Dance” with “Work You Out.”
Sutherland also appeared as a contestant on the UK version of The X Factor for its 2017 season. He made it through the Live Shows, where he got mentored by Louis Walsh as he was a part of the Boys category. During his first audition, Sutherland performed “Let’s Get it On” by Marvin Gaye, and during the group performance, he sang “Say You Won’t Let Go” by James Arthur.
Sutherland released numerous singles in 2019, including “Freaking Out,” “None of this has been about you,” and “Sweater.” On March 15, 2019, he released his debut EP, “NONE of this has been about you.
