Solomun Information
Solomun (December 27, 1975) is the stage name of Bosnian-German DJ Mladen Solomun, born in Travnik, SR Bosnia. Best Producer, Best D.J., and Best Melodic House D.J. are just a few titles he has won at the D.J. Awards.
Solomun started making music in 2005, and in late 2005, he and his collaborator Adriano Trolio (who handles booking for Diynamic) founded the record label Diynamic. "Do It Yourself" is Dynamics' ideology of choice. When Solomun finally met H.O.S.H. in 2006, Diynamic began to work in full swing. Solomun EP, Solomun's debut E.P. on Diynamic, was released in 2006.
Diynamic in the Jungle and Solomun+1 with Mano Le Tough were Solomun's two 2016 B.P.M. Festival events. The Bosnian musician then traveled extensively throughout North America. After a decade-long celebration in Berlin's Watergate on April 9, 2016, the Diynamic family had another anniversary bash at Ibiza's DC-10 on August 19, 2016.
In 2016, Solomun held not one but two residencies on the island of Ibiza: Solomun +1 at Pacha and Solomun +1 live at Ushuaia and Destino. He has performed at prestigious events, including Tomorrowland, Ultra Europe, Exit Festival, Melt! Festival, Movement Croatia, and Hungexpo in 2016 and 2018.
As part of the After Hours downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto Online in 2018, Solomun voiced the character of an in-residence D.J. Solomun shot the music video for "Customer is King" inside the Grand Theft Auto V in-game engine as an additional component of his broader partnership with Rockstar Games.
