Catherine Slater (September 17, 1996) is an American pop singer and songwriter. She is professionally known as Slayyyter. He was born in Kirkwood, Missouri, which is in a suburb of St. Louis. Slayyyter attended private grade schools. Later on, she continued her education in public school, where she learned great music for the first time. She began her career independently through SoundCloud. Slayyyter released a single, “Mine,” which helped her gain much prominence. The single reached number 38 on the iTunes pop chart. “Mine” was also included in her self-titled mixtape.
Slayyyter released her debut studio album entitled, Troubled Paradise on June 11, 2021. The album was released on Fader. She released the song entitled “Clouds” on February 26, the same year. Another single entitled “Cowboys” was released on April 9. The single was followed by “Over This!” on May 7. Her music has been praised by some big names such as Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Britney Spears.
Some of the musical inspiration Slayyyter had at the beginning of her music career include Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, Heidi Montag, Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Nelly Furtado, Timbaland, and Fergie.
