Scotty McCreery (October 9, 1993) is an American country singer born in Garner, North Carolina. His first studio album, Clear as Day, came out in 2011 and quickly went platinum. Other hits like "I Love You This Big" and "The Trouble with Girls" were featured on the album. McCreery has a gold-certified Christmas CD from 2012, Christmas with Scotty McCreery. See You Tonight, his third album, was released in October 2013.
McCreery won $25,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital on the fifth episode of "Celebrity Family Feud" on August 5, 2018. On March 9, 2018, McCreery's second song, "This Is It," was made available via digital stores. The Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase Country charts ranked the single at its highest point at number one.
On April 1, 2019, McCreery released "In Between" to radio. It quickly became his third consecutive number one on the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase Country charts. On September 23, 2020, he released "You Time" as the lead single from his upcoming fifth studio album, Same Truck (due September 17, 2021). On October 18, 2021, "Damn Strait" was issued as the follow-up single.
