Scott Bradlee (September 19, 1981) is a pianist, arranger, and musician from the He rose to fame thanks to his many successful YouTube videos, particularly those he made as part of the rotating collaborative Postmodern Jukebox (PMJ), which reimagines popular songs from different eras. After finding success as a jazz musician in New York, Bradlee became music director for Sleep No More, an interactive off-Broadway theater production.
Outside The Jukebox: How I Transformed My Addiction to Vintage Music into My Ideal Career was Scott Bradlee's first published work, a memoir by Hachette Books, on June 12, 2018. Not only did Billboard, Publishers Weekly, and The Weekly Standard highlight the book, but musicians like Kristin Chenoweth and Mick Fleetwood gave it fantastic reviews. During the book's publication week, Scott held several private book release parties in Flemington, New Jersey, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles.
Postmodern Jukebox, the group Bradlee co-founded, has done some of his best work to date. Covers of current pop songs, often with jazz or other musical twists, are posted by him once a week. There are more than 5.95 million followers and more than 1.9 billion views on the Postmodern Jukebox YouTube channel as of May 2023. Most of Postmodern Jukebox's videos, uploaded to YouTube weekly, are shot unscripted in Bradlee's living room. This band has covered everything from Katy Perry and the White Stripes to Lady Gaga and The Strokes.
