Sammy Boller, a guitarist and Candyrat recording artist hails from Detroit. Boller's debut instrumental album, Kingdom Of The Sun, was released in March 2020 to international acclaim and was hailed by Guitar World as "one of electric guitar's most promising names."
Boller, a former University of Michigan music student, shot to national prominence in 2012 when Joe Satriani chose him as the winner of Guitar Center's "Master Satriani" competition. Boller is now a well-known international player with a sizable and devoted online following, and he supports himself as a full-time musician.
Before starting his solo career, Boller played guitar for Citizen Zero (Wind-Up Records/Concord Music Group). Their State Of Mind album spawned many radio songs, including "Go (Let Me Save You)," which charted in the Top 15 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Chart.
Boller spends time on the road with world-renowned amplifier maestro Dave Friedman in addition to his live touring schedule (Friedman Amplification). They regularly run around the United States and Europe to support clinics and gear demonstrations. Boller is a contributing columnist for Guitar World Magazine and his support work with Friedman.
