Sam Riggs is a country music singer-songwriter from Austin, Texas. He was born in St. Cloud, Florida. He defines himself as a guy who loves flying, climbing mountains, pursuing music, and is a relentless adventurer. Riggs fell in love with music at an early age. He used to sleep at night by singing folk and country songs along with his brother Mike. He picked up the guitar young, and by high school, he was onto the drums.
The first two albums by Sam Riggs were self-released. He later partnered with independent firms for two more albums, including Breathless, which hit number 12 on the Billboard Top Country Albums charts. Later on, he released a long list of hit ultra-country singles including “Hold On And Let Go,” “High On A Country Song,” “Second Hand Smoke,” “Until My Heart Stops Beating,” “Don’t Stop Now,” “Run,” and “Obsessed.”
Sam Riggs also released two extended plays: Hairpin Trigger Heart (Sam Riggs Band) on November 11, 2010, and Lighthouse on August 4, 2012. His hit music videos are “Your Troubadour,” “When the Lights Go Out,” and “Hold on and Let Go.”
Riggs also founded the Air and Opportunity Adventure Company, a firm that deals in climbs, private flights and helicopter rides, oversees hikes, and Riggs’ other beloved hobbies.
