Sam Greenfield is a saxophonist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist living in New York City. Having spent his formative years in Philadelphia, he was exposed to various musical styles from an early age. Greenfield has been able to record with and tour the world with several different artists since he graduated from college. He is known for his work with Cory Wong, guitarist for the New Jersey band Thank You, Scientist. He has played sax on albums by Mariah Carey, Queen Latifah, R. Kelly, Dave Koz, Eric Roberson, Stokley, Anita Wilson, and Lotus, among many others.
Greenfield has devoted his life to making music. While he has toured and recorded with other artists, he also devotes much time to writing and recording his material, influenced by various genres. He has used his many musical talents to produce something completely original. His first solo album dropped in March of 2021, and his second followed in November of the same year.
