Saint Motel is an American band based in Los Angeles. It is an indie-pop band that enjoys the music label of “everything from dream pop to indie prog.” The current band members include Aaron Sharp (lead guitar), A. J. Jackson (lead vocals, piano, and guitar), Greg Erwin (drums), and Dak Lerdamornpong (bass).
The Saint Motel band was formed in 2007 by Jackson and Sharp when the two were attending a film school (Southern California). Jackson and Sharp later met Lerdamornpong and Greg and released their debut EP titled “ForPlay” in 2009 with six songs. “Voyeur” was the first full-length album by the band, which hit no.18 on the charts of alt specialty radio.
Some other notable releases by the band are My Type (EP), saintmotelevision, (2016), "Move," (a single with 360-degree video), "You Can Be You,” 7"1 (EP), and 7"2 (EP). Some of the hit singles by Saint Motel are "At Least I Have Nothing" (2012), "Benny Goodman," "Destroyer," "Cold Cold Man," and a few more.
The Saint Motel band has performed and created several live shows, some of which are Future Fathers Day, Make Contact, The Kaleidoscopic Mind Explosion in 3D, The Black & White Show, Valentine's Zombie Prom, and a few more. The band has also toured with countless famous bands, including Nico Vega, Imagine Dragons, Hockey, Weezer, Arctic Monkeys, and many more.
Saint Motel has also performed in Sanremo Music Festival (2015), which was held in Sanremo, Italy. The band also performed at Arts Festival, Live Out (Monterrey, Mexico), and the Coachella Valley Music. It also delivered the opening performance for Panic! At The Disco.
